Saiva Vina Vidai Book 2 by Sri-La-Sri Arumuga Navalar is a Tamil Book written in the form of Questions and Answers on the essential elements of Saiva Siddhanta Philosophy and Religion. It is the essence of the Vedas and Saiva Agamas. If one could learn well this book, he would be able to gain the basic knowledge of the essential elements of the Saiva Siddhanta philosophy and practice of the religion.
Most of the Tamil children of Saiva descent in Malaysia have not enough Tamil knowledge to study this book in Tamil and gain the spiritual know- ledge. So it was thought that the translation of the book into English would help to solve the problem.
